ABOUT US
Together, We Can See a Day Where There Is MORE THAN ENOUGH.
Welcome to RDU for FAMs — we’re so glad you’re here.
We are a faith-based collaborative of churches, nonprofits, and community advocates across the Triangle who believe God’s heart is for vulnerable children and families. And we believe that if the Church works together, we can see a day when there is MORE THAN ENOUGH:
✨ More than enough support for biological families fighting to stay together
✨ More than enough encouragement for foster families who step in during crisis
✨ More than enough care for adoptive families providing permanence
✨ More than enough belonging for youth aging out of the system without a family
That’s the dream. And we believe it’s possible—together.
Who We Are:
In 2023, a small group of pastors, nonprofit leaders, and advocates gathered around a shared conviction:
THE CRISIS FACING VULNERABLE CHILDREN & FAMILIES IS TOO BIG FOR ANY ONE CHURCH OR MINISTRY TO FACE ALONE.
So we linked arms, received coaching and support from the More Than Enough initiative at CAFO, and officially launched RDU for FAMs as a prayerful, collaborative response to that call.
Since then, our Steering Team has continued to meet biweekly to pray, discern, and lead with open hands. We don’t direct—we steward—trusting God to build something far bigger than any of us could do alone.
What We Do:
We focus on three core practices:
⚪️ Unifying churches, nonprofits, and communities across lines of denomination, mission, and geography
⚪️ Equipping people with trauma-informed, sustainable resources and spiritual formation
⚪️ Mobilizing the Body of Christ to respond to real needs with real strategy
